Civil funerals
Working with a family to create what they want included in the service. I will endeavour to capture the essence of their loved one that will be unique to them. From the moment the service begins it is about the person and their life. Poetry, readings and music can be discussed. Family or friends can be involved to create a unique ceremony celebrating a life lived. The content is your choice and if you wish I can do a semi religious service with prayers or hymns. I always provide a final script of the service to the family presented in a folder as a keepsake for them to look back on.
Scattering of ashes ceremony
Often this is a very bespoke personal gathering and a final goodbye. People who could not attend the funeral could be part of this ceremony too. This is a thoughtful and wonderful way to say a final goodbye as the ashes are scattered or interred. Your family can then return to the place to reflect and remember their loved one.
Memorial services
I can help plan this type of service to be delivered at your chosen venue. As a master of ceremonies, I will help create and deliver the service to ensure it runs smoothly. This is a truly memorable event that reinforce the life your loved one lead and their achievements can be recognised in full.
Pre–planned services
Some people want to plan their own funeral wishes whilst they are still alive. I can write eulogies and full services that can be kept safe until the time comes. I cannot guarantee it would be me that would deliver the service. Being a member of the IoCF they would support finding another celebrant to do the delivery. Your personal funeral wishes can be realised.
